More than 1 million antidrug booklets distributed by Scientologists in Cortina Olympics
Italy’s anti-drug education initiative has surpassed one million drug-prevention booklets distributed in the past month. The initiative forms part of the Truth About Drugs campaign, which aims to provide accessible knowledge about commonly abused substances and their short- and long-term effects.
Approximately hundreds of volunteers across the country are participating in the outreach effort, distributing materials in schools, businesses and urban centres. The campaign focuses on prevention through education, providing resources designed to explain the dangers of drugs in a understandable way.
The initiative forms part of Scientology-supported social betterment activities, inspired by the work of Scientology founder L. Ron Hubbard.
